This cool little desk calendar was distributed in late 1958 to advertise Denver’s iconic Brown Palace Hotel, built in 1892 and still in operation today.
The featured world map is presented on a unique projection that situates the Mile High City in the center, with connections to important and exotic locations around the globe. Of interest is the dotted line to Tombouctou – the first airport wouldn’t be constructed in a newly independent Mali until 1961.
