Description
This detailed road map of Baja California was issued by the Automobile Club of Southern California in the 1930s (probably 1933, according to the date code on the front cover). There is really only one possible route through the rugged peninsula for those motorists departing San Diego or Tijuana. Distances between points are provided, and various amenities (water, gas, etc.) are noted at settlements along the way. Numerous geographic features and locations of interest (mostly, Spanish missions) are labeled.
