Description
This charming little map of historic California was published in Carson City by Hickory, Inc. in 1976. A simple outline map shows the locations of various Spanish missions, ghost towns and mining camps, along with their respective dates of establishment.
Trails of various early explorers and historic transportation routes are noted, along with other ‘Wild West’ locations of interest. The entire map is surrounded by various vignettes showing stereotypical scenes from California’s past, including gold miners and Spanish priests.
