A half-spherical night sky (many features are labeled) is reconstructed through overlaying thick dark blue paper sheets around an outer cardboard ring (the instructions make it sound like a breeze). A twenty-page constellation booklet is also included, with the story of the Astrodome printed on the back cover.
The innovative portable observatory was originally created by Klaus Huning in West Germany in 1981. This is the second printing by Cooperstown-based Sunstone Publications, Inc., from 1986.

Condition Description: Sixteen punch-out sheets (two heavy cardboard) and a (smaller) 20 pp. booklet in original color cardboard binding (complete). When assembled, the planetarium measures about 20" across. A bit of light wear and toning on the covers, but overall in near fine condition.
