Description
This interesting graphic chronicles approximately 170 years of development of armored vehicles across the world. Dozens of small illustrations show a variety of self-propelled machines ranging from the 1915 British ‘Little Willie’ to the American LAV-25, introduced into service in 1983. A key at the bottom of the page identifies the various acronyms used to identify the vehicle’s purpose and developing country.
Published in 1986 by the United States Army, probably for a training program at Fort Knox based on the printer’s stamp in the lower right. Vignettes originally designed by George Bradford.
