Description

The slapstick humor of the Three Stooges got its start in the early 1920s and continued actively until 1970. Best known for their nearly 200 short films produced by Columbia Pictures, there were actually six different stooges over the life of the act. Moe and Larry, the two mainstays, gave their blessing to the 1974 founding of the Three Stooges Fan Club and today and it claims over 2,000 members worldwide.

The organization sponsored the publication of this humorous map for the 1991 Three Stooges Convention held at Trevose, Pennsylvania. It uses a variety of geographic puns, plays on words, and straightforward silliness to provide an amusing cartographic souvenir.
