Description

The world of Warhammer began as a tabletop board game created by Bryan Ansell, Richard Halliwell, and Rick Priestley that was first published by Games Workshop in 1983. The high-fantasy setting centered around miniature figurines would become immensely popular and grow into a media empire spanning video games, novels, and more.

This map covers the small and mysterious island known as Albion, clearly modeled on Arthurian Britain. Various pictorial elements highlight locations of interest, geographic features, and settlements inhabited by human tribes, vicious giants, and the mysterious Fimir. Sailing ships in The Great Ocean note the approximate directions to various other kingdoms. A list of Warhammer retailers in the United States and Canada can be found on the verso.

The map was published by Games Workshop, Ltd. in 2001. Originally included in an issue of White Dwarf, the official Warhammer magazine, as a reference for players and pinup poster.
