This interesting pair of ephemeral advertisements highlight the apparent efficacy of the farm implements produced by the Excelsior Drill Company of Springfield, Ohio. Illustrations and photographs provide details on the various models and their components while accompanying text provides best practices for planting, testimonials from happy customers, and assurances of future wealth. “No other implement on your farm will show you as much profit in so short a time.”

Condition Description: Two folded brochures with stapled binding. The first is fifteen pages, has color wraps and panels measuring approximately 4" x 8.25". Printed in black and red. Very good condition, with light soiling on the covers. The second pamphlet measures approximately 9" x 6" and is creased along two vertical fold lines. The back page shows some scattered soiling and stains.
