Description
This interesting piece of dual marketing was distributed by the Diamond Crystal Salt Company to accompany a sponsored radio show, The Adventures of Captain Ezra Diamond. There is little to be found on the show, but it’s presumed that many of the locations on the map are visited by its protagonist, Captain Ezra Diamond.
Several spots, such as the Peary Monument and Golden Gate Bridge, were under construction at the time of publication, while other illustrations show local inhabitants, wildlife, and agriculture. Images of Poseidon, sea monsters, and a decorative compass rose add to the adventurous theme, while diagrams of sailing ships at the bottom provide points of reference for eager listeners.

Condition Description: Sharply creased along old fold lines, with closed tears repaired on verso (no image loss). Old tape repairs have resulted in some discoloration on the left and right sides, confined mostly to the margins. Scattered offsetting, primarily from blue ink, visible in the lower half of the single-sided sheet. About good condition overall.
