Description

This tabulated road guide presents a detailed strip map for the 69 state highways in operation throughout Minnesota in the mid-1920’s. Each sheet includes a route map with an accompanying table of distances. Numerous contemporary advertisements, photographs, and scattered quotes are also included throughout the booklet’s 48 double sided pages.

Inset maps of urban centers like Minneapolis (which also includes separate information about the downtown ‘congested zone’), Duluth, and St. Paul provide detailed maps of downtown areas, along with local traffic regulations and parking restrictions. A fold out map showing the state and trunk highways across Minnesota, along with their respective route markers, is present, but separated from the original publication.

Published in Minneapolis in 1925 by the W.H. Lightfoot Company.
