Description

“This is a story of the 345th in combat. It is a story of success, for it is a tale of a unit which fought the Krauts for 332 days, and fought them well.” The introduction exemplifies the attitude of many American units who commemorated their wartime experiences with similar publications.

Text, illustrations, and photographs summarize a carefully curated account of the action across France and Germany. A list of fallen comrades, index of award recipients, and folding pictorial map of the European Theater are also included within the volume.
