Description
This interesting Depression-era road map of Wyoming was compiled, drawn, and revised by Julius Muller and published by the Wyoming State Highway Department in 1936. Black, yellow, and red lines denote paved, gravel, and dirt roads, while additional coloring highlights the extent of National Parks, Military Reservations, National Forests, Game Refuges, and Indian Reservations. Air routes and historic trails are also noted, offering a glimpse both forward and backward in America’s transportation evolution. The verso presents Wyoming Worth Knowing, with captioned photographs, a mileage table, lists of facts, and a road map of the western United States.
