Description
The detailed Russian-language atlas of the world was published in Moscow in January 1990 by the Soviet Directorate of Geodesy and Cartography. Its 325+ pages offer a comprehensive political and geographic overview of the entire globe, with a particular emphasis on the Eastern Hemisphere and the states comprising the (rapidly crumbling) Soviet Union. Population demographics and industrial statistics, several large-scale city plans, and a comprehensive index are also included within the decorative covers.
