Philadelphia, PA.
$85.00
Federally sponsored city plan of Philadelphia published in a governmental report.
Description
Oriented with west at the top to maximize space, this city plan of Philadelphia is spartan in its practicality. Delicate lines can barely delineate the myriad network of streets, rail lines and rivers that crisscross all throughout the city. Important buildings are noted in bold blocks, but does not give the audience a good feel for the city’s density and populace.
Designed by the Moss Engineering Company in New York and published by the Government Printing Office as part of an annual congressional report.
