Jack Daniel’s Country A Map of Middle Tennessee and Lynchburg
$100.00
Double-sided promotional map for ‘the oldest registered distillery in the country.’

Description
Though the iconic Old No. 7 bottle claims the distillery was founded in 1866, official documentation confirms that Jasper ‘Jack’ Daniel’s operation was first established near Lynchburg, Tennessee in 1875. Furthermore, it is not the oldest registered distillery in the U.S. as claimed – that honorable spot is taken by Buffalo Trace. No matter, as the Tennessee whiskey brand remains incredibly popular and its production facility was registered as a National Historic Site in 1972. That helps to date this fun promotional pictorial map, published ‘recently’ after the award was announced.
One side shows a simple street plan of Lynchburg, with illustrated vignettes of notable buildings and historic sites (including the distillery), with accompanying descriptive text. The verso presents a similarly designed map of Middle Tennessee, with Nashville in the center and captions for seven locations of interest provided at the bottom.
