Description
This group of advertising materials was distributed for restricted use by 20th Century Fox to select audiences in advance of the 1998 film, The X-Files. Based on the popular show of the same name, the science fiction thriller featured many of the same characters and was a box office success, despite some critical reviews.
The collection includes promotional materials for Buick (get free tickets to the movie), a pictorial folder, a volume of Sci-Fox magazine, ad slicks, an original envelope, and more. The highlight is a large folding map of North America that identifies the various locations where weird and mysterious happenings took place throughout the first three seasons of the show.

Condition Description: Large collection of promotional materials for the X-Files, including a large folding map measuring approximately 30" x 40". Light wear, consistent with age. Very good to near fine condition overall.
