Description
In response to a request from Mr. Eugene Boswell at the Shattuck School in Faribault, Minnesota, O.H. Lazelle sent along with the latest copy of the Lake Shore Electric Railway Company timetables in January of 1928.
The original letter, signed in manuscript, and accompanying pamphlet remain a pair for sale here. The verso of the former includes a map of the railway lines, plus connections, across Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan.
Printed and distributed near the end of the interurban railway systems across the United States – the Lake Shore Electric went bankrupt in 1932.
