One of several three-dimensional maps of American cities designed by the talented David Fox, this view of Chicago is oriented slightly to the east and covers a broad area between the West Loop and Gold Coast. Outlines of each major building are sketched along a simple street plan, with outdoor spaces emphasized in bright green. Dozens of structures are individually labeled, providing a detailed snapshot of the composition of some of Chicago’s most popular neighborhoods in the early 1980s.

The map was designed by David Fox and published in Narberth, Pennsylvania by David A. Fox Studios in 1982.
