Description

This interesting chart shows the breadth of the Erie Railroad Company in a few different ways. The central strip map shows a stylized depiction of the different routes in operation between Chicago and New York, with various offshoots to other locations across the United States and into Canada.

Surrounding the diagram are various ‘spokes’ representing the states, overseas possessions, and foreign countries that are served by lines (or connections) of the Erie Railroad Company. Published in the April 26, 1924 issue of The Traffic World.
